Can a BCA graduate from SMU eligible for SSC CGL exam?


Hello sir, I have completed graduation from Sikkim Manipal University in BCA and want to know that weather my degree makes me eligible for SSC CGL exams or not?

Yes, BCA graduate from SMU are eligible for SSC CGL exam because SMU is approved by UGC.

Minimum educational qualification required to apply for SSC CGL examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

SSC CGL (Combine Graduate Exam) has various sub post under it and it need different qualification to apply. Minimum qualification required is graduation from any stream.

Post : Compiler
Qualification : Bachelor's degree with economics or stats or maths as a compulsory subject from any recognized university.

Post: Statistical Investigator grade II
Qualification: Graduation where either stats or maths should be a compulsory subject.

Post : Assistant (CSS)
Qualification : A candidate need to be graduate with a certificate in computer course .

** Degree obtained from open university/Distance mode is allowed in this exam, the university must be recognized by the Distance Education Council, IGNOU

Yes, you are eligible for Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGLE) which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is an approved and recognized university by UGC and degrees from this university are valid for all types of government job. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university are eligible for SSC CGL examination. Age of candidates must be in between 21 to 30 years. Thanks

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application the degree offered by SMU is valid and equivalent to bachelor degree.

So, you will be eligible to apply for CGL examination conducted by SSC. The basic criteria to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit to appear for examination is 18-27 years with relaxation in age for reserved category. For more information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in.

Sikkim Manipal University is a funded, co-educational, public-private university located in Gangtok, Sikkim, India.

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission. For this examination candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognized university.

As per my knowledge, you are eligible for SC|SC CGL Examination after BCA graduate from Sikkim Manipal University.

Degree offered from any recognised university is valid to appear for Combined Graduate Level entrance examination which is conducted for recruitment in government jobs.

Sikkim Manipal university in Gangtok, Sikkim is a recognised university and the degree from university is valid.

So, with BCA degree you are eligible to appear entrance examination.

SSC Stands for Staff selection Commission which is used to conduct many exams for recruitment . CGL is one of them CGL Stands for Combined Graduation Level Exam.

The eligibility criteria :

The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The age limit is 18 to 30 years, there are some exemption for reserved candidates.

As you have completed your graduation you can apply for the exam .

Yes, being a BCA graduate from SMU, you are eligible to apply for SSC CGL examination. Eligibility criteria required to apply for SSC CGL examination is mentioned below :-

=> You should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognized University.

=> Age Limit :-
--> Inspector and Accountants :- 18-27 years
--> Statistical Investigator Gr.II :- 26 Years
--> Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI :- 20-27 years
