What subject we can choose to become magistrate we should go with arts or commerce?

To become a Magistrate the best choice will be to opt for humanities with economics or mathematics. you to posses a degree in LLB.
And also you have to appear in the entrance exam called CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). |

First off all, To become a Magistrate one has to first possess a degree in L.L.B. And to get the L.L.B degree the eligible candidate has to undertake an entrance test conducted by Law departments of various universities of India or the independent law Institutions. |

Age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not greater than 35 years. °°° To become a magistrate one has to first possess a degree in LLB and to get the LLB degree, the Eligible Candidate has to undertake and entrance test conducted by law departments of various universities of India. Entrance test : FLAT °°° So, in 11th standard you can opt for Arts stream are any stream because there is no restrictions on the stream to pursue LLB degree. |

Magistrate or judge is the most cherished position in the legal system of India.
One who is interested to become a magistrate must possess a law graduate degree. Age - Not less than 21 years and not greater than thirty-five years. Candidates should have discipline, sense of responsibility, commitment and self- confidence. The job requires a lot of hard work, stamina, alertness of mind and above all honesty towards the society. They must have a pro people-oriented bent of mind and interpersonal skills. Personally, I would like to suggest you to opt for Arts stream in your 11th and 12th standard because after that you can pursue LLB degree. |

To become a District Magistrate, you have to appear and qualify in civil services examination. Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is:- Candidate must have passed the graduation from a recognised University. Candidate's age must be between 21 to 32 years with relaxation in age for reserved category. So, you are eligible to pursue and course in 12th or graduation to appear for examination. The subject which one should take to become a Magistrate is you should process an LLB degree. To get the LLB degree a candidate has to undertake an entrance test which is conducted by Law departments of various universities of India or the independent law schools/institutions. Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the most important to get into a law career.
After completing a law degree a candidate has to qualify for the Judicial Services Examination, which includes Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and an interview. |

To be a Magistrate (i.e; District Magistrate), you are required to qualify the Civil Services examination held by UPSC once every year.
Further, to appear in the Civil Services examination, the basic education required is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. So, you can choose Arts or Commerce stream as per your interest and strength to appear in the Civil Service examination and to be a Magistrate later on. No particular stream is required, candidate belonging to science, commerce, arts all are eligible.
For becoming a Judicial magistrate, 3 yr LLB or 5 yr LLB is required and after the completion of LLB one has to go through Judicial Service Exam ,after clearance of this exam you become civil judge or Judicial magistrate. |

Competent Person can be promoted as follows magistrate ,chief magistrate and regional magistrate. Before prospective magistrate or a printed as permanent magistrate they must first successfully complete a course at justice college, the training department of justice and their after complete 6 month practical training which is conducted in an actual Court where Aspirant magistrate preside over real criminal cases. |

I will suggest you choose the arts stream in the 11th class if you aspire to become a Magistrate. Prospective magistrates need to obtain at least a 3-year diploma or degree in law such as Diploma Luris, BLuris or a 4-year degree such as BProc. It is advisable to also obtain an LLB degree or a Diploma Legum. Magistrates who have the latter qualifications can become regional magistrates. |

What subject should one take to become a Magistrate?
The candidate should choose humanities or arts stream to make career in law field after 12th. The reason is that the candidate will get to study history, politics, economic, psychology in arts stream that will help you after 12th while pursuing graduation in law. |
