Re: MS or MTech in india
Hi,
I must inform you that in India the MS degree is being offered by a only a few top institutes. As per my knowledge, their syllabus is also not upto the world standards. So if you wish to pursue higher studies in India, then it is best that you for M.Tech as there are many M.Tech colleges in India and their course is excellent, also you may get admission quite easily. Good Luck! |

Quote:
In India, I suggest you to take up M.Tech as M.Tech is more beneficial than MS in India. In foreign countries, MS and M.tech are same. But in India, it is different. If you want to do M.Tech in best colleges like IIT, then you need to write GATE exam and you need to score well. If you score well, then you will get opportunity to do M.Tech in a very good colleges. Thanks. |

Re: MS or MTech in india
Both are good in their aspect. If any one want to go for a research area then he can do MS.
If he want to make it to corporate world then he may go for m.tech. For this you have to sit for GATE exam. |

Re: MS or MTech in india
If you want to take the course only in India, then better to choose M.Tech
If you interested to take the course abroad, then you can go for MS. The reason why i am suggesting like this, the MS being offered by very limited institutes in India. But when it come to M.Tech, Mechanical engineering is being offered some good number of institutes in India. In addition getting admission to M.Tech in India is a bit easy when compared with MS So if possible better to go for abroad and do MS |
