Am I eligible for MBBS? Can I get lateral entry having done BHMS?
Sir/Madam,
i have completed my BHMS in 2012 and i am 27 yr (Gen.) old now. i want to study MBBS so i want to know whether i am eligible or not and can i get a lateral or direct entry in MBBS course as i have done BHMS which is very much similar to MBBS course except the medicines. or i have to give the enternce exam once again?? plz reply soon... |

MBBS is a Degree for Medical,Surgery and for joining in this course there are certain qualification which you would need to satisfy in order to apply for the course. The Education qualification needed for the MBBS Course is that the candidate must have +2 from a recognized school board of education with 50% aggregate and there are certain relaxation for other category candidates. The candidate should have a age limit of 17 years. There are entrance exams which are conducted for candidates to join in MBBS course and you would need to satisfy the eligibility conditions framed for the MBBS course and the top exams which you could opt for are: AIIMS Entrance Exams – All India Institute of Medical Science Entrance Exam AIPMT- All India –Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance Exam JIPMER - Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research PGIMER - Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research ALL THE BEST |

Sorry to inform you that, you are not allowed to apply for MBBS at the age of 27 years. The Age Limit for MBBS admission is minimum 17 years and maximum 26 years. This is for General Catoegory students and age relaxations is applicable for reserved candidates. Since you have mentioned that you are from General Category, then you are not allowed to apply for MBBS. But you have many other Hisgher Stdies options after BHMS. sir i complete my 1st professional(2nd semester) mbbs from a government medical college of bihar with 67% can i take admission in pmch to continue my 2nd proffessional mbbs exam from there

After bsc nursing why the mbbs course is again 5.5 years why cnt they keep two or three years because already the bsc nursing students has known about hospital and clinical side more then doctor the nursing student are much better so they can keep mbbs two or three years
