I am studing in BSc.Biotechnology,Zoology and Chemistry 3rd year with Biology as one of the subject in 12th level with above 50% marks in 12th(aggregate 57%)

Whether I am eligible for laterla entry in MBBS what is the procedure in Karnataka.

HI,
I am sorry to say that you not get admissions through lateral entry I mean to say that you can not get admissions in the M.B.B.S course directly in Second year.
If you want you can take admissions in 1st year.
For admissions in Top college you have to qualify the entrance exam.

Some top entrance exam are:-
-A.I.I.M.S
- A.I.P.M.T
-J.I.P.M.E.R
- M.G.I.M.S
- B.H.U
-A.M.U
-State-P.M.T
etc

yes you are eligible because it is only 3 years since you have passed out 12th. One can apply for MBBS even in this age. All you need to do is to just remain in touch with the dates of exams which are mostly after march. Apply for exams online and then give those exams. Based upon your ranking, you will get a government, semi-government, management or private seat in your state in MBBS or BDS.
