KAS stands for Karnataka Adminstrative Services and the KAS exam is conducted for candidates to join in various posts for administration of the state.

ELIGIBILITY NEEDED:

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

>> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 21-35 years of age and this is for General category candidates.

>> There are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates and they are for SC/ST candidate it is extra 5 years that is 21-40 years of age

>> For OBC candidate it is 21-38 years

>> For Physically Handicapped persons it is 21-45 years

>> Education qualification which is needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.

If you satisfy all these criteria then you can apply for the KAS exam.

There are certain amount of attempts which is allowed for candidates and they are:
  • For General category candidate it is 5.
  • For OBC candidate it is 7
  • For SC/ST there is no limit
