First of all let me give you a brief introduction about what is NET and its requirement.

CSIR stands for Council for Scientific and Industrial Research .NET means National Eligibility Test.

Eligibility Criteria for NET :

1. Educational Qualification :

You must have master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% of marks for general candidates. 5% relaxation in marks given to SC/ST category candidates.

2. Age limitations :

NET examination is conducted for :

>>Junior Research fellowship : The upper age limit is 28 years .

>>Lectureship: No upper age limit.

As per your educational qualification you are not eligible for the NET exam .You must have master's degree for it .In terms of age you are eligible for Lectureship but for that you need to have master's degree as well.

As per qualification you are not qualifying for net exam. For that you need to have masters degree first.
