Sir,
I have passed my 12th and appeared in jee main & advance exam.
Now can i apply for jee main and advance this year.
This will be my third attempt for jee main & advance? Can I ?
please reply soon.

A candidate can attempt Joint Entrance Exam [Advanced] maximum twice in consecutive years. For example if you passed your 10+2 in 2014 then you can apply for JEE advanced in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

So, you can not apply for it if it is your third attempt.

JEE stands for the Joint Entrance exam. It is conducted for selection of candidates to Bachelor's degree of technology.

It has two stages:

1. JEE Mains

2. JEE Advanced.

You can attempt JEE maximum twice. If you passed your 10+2 in 2014, then you can appear for JEE held in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Hence, you can not apply for the exam in third attempt.

I am sorry to say this my friend because the minimum attempt for writing the JEE is twice. And hence you cannot write the entrance exam third time.

Yes , you can give the JEE Mains and Advance Third time . But it must in consecutive with 1st attempt during +2 examination .

The examination is of 360 marks with 120 marks from each of PCM and total of 3 hours duration .There is negative marking also on each wrong answer of 1 mark .

Yes , you can definitely give the JEE Mains examination conducted by CBSE for admission in B.Tech /B.E courses three times consecutively .

The examination is conducted in the month of April and the results of Mains are announced in the first week of May . The then selected candidates are eligible for JEE Advance .

I have the solution for your problem it is.

1.The maximum number of attempts for JEE Mains and Advanced exams is two.

2.As you have finished your two attempts.

3.Now you are not eligible to apply for this exam again.

4.I am sorry that you cannot write this exam once again in your lifetime.

No, you can not apply for IIT-JEE Mains and Advance 3rd time.
You can apply IIT-JEE Mains and Advance exam only 2 times.
First in appearing year of 12th and Second in the next year of your 12th passed.
If you all ready attempt 2 times or you have 12th 2 year ago, Now you are not eligible to apply IIT-JEE Mains and Advance exam.

Yes you can give 12th again in some local school and try jee mains and advanced again but while registering please fill year of passing 12th as year of your third attempt and while admission show your local school's 12th pass certificate I know many Bihari people who do this and take 3rd attempt at jee

There are a total of 3 attempts available for JEE Mains but there are only a total of 2 attempts for JEE Advanced.
Thus you can definitely not attempt JEE Advanced this year even if you pass JEE Mains and fit the criteria.
There is a condition you need to fulfill even for your attempt of JEE Mains which is that you must give all the 3 attempts of JEE Mains in 3 subsequent years.
Thus you must give all these attempts in the year you give your 12th standard exams and the next 2 consecutive years.

Sir I am passed 12 in 2016 and appear in jee main but I don't qualify jee main and I'm not appear jee main 2017. I'm eligible for jee main and advanced 2018

I am facing one issue that i have passed 12 in 2015 in the month of October from nios board and i have already attempted jee mains in 2015 and 2016 exam and scored good marks in 2017 but according to jee advance one is not eligible for 3 rd attempt but it is also written that one whose result of board is declared after june are eligible for advance so i am eligible or not

I have attempted jee Advanced in 2015 but in 2016 i could not qualified jee Advanced. Will i am eligible for 2017 JEE ADVANCED if have cleared jee mains

You can give JEE mains 3rd time but not JEE advanced.
The maximum no. of attempts allowed for JEE advanced are two and that for JEE mains it is three after passing class 12th.
