i have got 12521 rank in srm university entrance exam
and 34401 rank in viteee
i got eee branch in srm
can i get admision in to vit vellore campus
can i get mechanical in viteee???
please answer me quickly as the time for vit counsiling has arrived

VIT never declares the official VITEEE marks before hand and neither the marks are disclosed to the candidates, only ranks are declared based on which the admissions are taken.

But as per VITEEE counselling details published last year, some key points are as follows:

1. Candidates who scored rank between 1-8000 were called on the first day for counselling.

2. Candidates who scored rank between 8001-12000 in VITEEE exam were called on day 2 of counselling.

3. Candidates who fell in rank between 12001-16000 were called on the third day of counselling.

4. Those who ranked between 16001-20000 got themselves counselled on the last day of counselling.

5. In VITEEE counselling phase 2, ranks 20000-99999 were called


All the seats were filled in Phase 2 of counselling.

I have scored 26539 rank in VITEEE 2015 exam published today 29/04/2015 and called for phase 2 of counselling. Is ti possible to get a seat in VIT for this rank and if so, which branch is possible?

What is the expected score for getting cs branch in vit 2016

I have scored 94494 rank in VITEEE 2015 exam published today 29/04/2015 and called for phase 2 of counselling. Is ti possible to get a seat in VIT for this rank and if so, which branch is possible?

I am sorry to say that you must surely take a management quota seat if you want admission in that university as the cut offs for mechanical stream are very high.
Else you can also take a lowly stream in VIT for the first year and then score well to change your stream in the second year.
You can also do that in SRM actually and if you are unable to change stream then you will still stay in a good branch i.e EEE.
Both the universities are more or less the same and it doesn't matter waht the name of the university is.
