Can I get Lateral entry in any recognized Engineering college for pursuing Bio-medical Engineering or Bio-process Engineering after completing DMLT?


Respected Sir, After class 10th I was admitted in Government Polytechnic college for 3 yrs Diploma course in Medical Lab Technology, I passed out successfully. Now I want to know that am I eligible to pursue Bio-medical Engineering or Bio-process Engineering in any recognized Engineering college in India?

No, you can't get lateral admission in biomedical engineering degree course on the basis of your diploma in medical lab technology. Both are totally different courses.

You can get lateral entry admission only in degree course related to medical lab technology. There is no other option for lateral entry.
