It is tough to give/suggest you the best engineering stream as there is no stream in which admission is not in demand.

So, all it depends is upon your interest. As it plays a major role in making your future scope bright which almost all candidates desire in future after course.

So, you can take the admission in stream as per your interest. Some of B.tech stream are Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Biotechnology etc..

All branches of Engineering is very good have nice career option in evry domain of engineering. There are almost 30 streams of Engineering course like Aeronautics, Marine, Chemical, IT, Computer Science, Design, Auto cad etc.

But the core branches of engineering are : Electrical , Mechanical & Civil. There are some more branches other than this like : Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Aviation Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering which has been derived from the core branches of engineering etc.

Now it depend on your choice and interest of work, If you love machines and tools then you should choose Mechanical engineering.
If you are interested in construction work then you can choose Civil Engineering.
If you have Interest in Electronics and telecom field then you can choose Electronics & communication branch of engineering.
If you love to do programming and implementing new codes to hardware then you can choose Computer science.

Placement record in every field is very nice & students are getting very good salary package in each domain of engineering. This is the right time to choose any one of them and to move ahead to make your career brighter.

After getting knowledge and experience you can have your own business into same field. But the choice is yours only to select any one out of availability.

You can also change your branch only in second year, hence you have two option either to select in beginning or in second year.

The selection of stream in engineering should be totally done on basis of candidate's own interest. All streams have good career opportunity and future scope, either it is mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or civil engineering or electronics and communication engineering.

You must choose that stream in which you have interest otherwise, you may find difficult in longer run to continue with course selected on suggestion of others. You need to apply for engineering entrance exam for admission in Bachelor of technology in different stream. Joint Entrance examination is conducted by CBSE every year and is the entrance exam for admission in B.Tech in IITs, NITs and other government engineering college. Some other entrance exams are State Level engineering entrance exams, SRMEEE, VITEEE , BITSAT etc.

There are many branches in Engineering course which you can opt and pursue based up on your interest. All the branches have its own significance in its respective field. Every branch is related to a particular field. For example, if you opt CSE course, it is related to software field or if you opt Civil course, it is related to Construction field. So, you can opt any branch based on your interest. You can directly do Engineering course after completion of your 12th standard but, to get admission in Engineering course, you must have to appear and qualify entrance examinations like EAMCET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, KCET, etc.. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you wlil be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in first year of four years Engineering course.

# Following points must be kept in mind before choosing any branch of engineering:

* While choosing any branch of engineering, one should focus more on his/her interest rather than its scope. As scope of any branch changes with the passage of time and trend.

* All the branches of engineering are equally rated and have equal career prospects. So choose that branch of engineering in which you good interest and good elementary knowledge.

* It is also as equally important to choose an engineering college as opting the branch of engineering. One should visit the official website of engineering college and have a look on the provided course material, basic infrastructure, teaching faculty, past placement record etc.

* Specialisation in best suited branch is also utmost important. Choose the best suited specialisation as per one's approach, past record/result, area of interest etc. Don't go for pursuing specialisation in such branch of engineering in which have not interest. In this way, it is not possible to get success in that branch.
