Eligibility to appear in UPTET for BEd 1st year student?
Dear Sir/Madam, I have completed my MA and now studying in BEd. This is my 1st year. I want to apply in UPTET recruitment of this year. Can I do this? I would like to know I am eligible or not. Waiting for your response!

UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a entrance exam conducted every year by Uttar Pradesh government.
The eligibility required for applying to the UPTET are mentioned below: - The candidate should be a citizen of India. - The educational qualification required for primary teacher is a 12th class with minimum 50% from any recognised board. - For upper primary teacher the educational qualification required is a bachelor's level degrees with minimum 50% from any recognised board. - There is percentage relaxation given for reservation candidates. - The age limit should be between 18 - 35 years. - There is age relaxation available for reservation candidates. If you meet the requirements then you can apply for the UPTET exam. For application forms and other details visit the official website of UPTET. |

You need to have B.Ed qualification from a recognized college with at least 50% marks, if you want to apply for UPTET. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.
Just make sure you have given final year exam, if you haven't completed B.Ed yet. You need to justify your percentage later. |
