I just qualified for jee advanced with 47 marks under ST category.In My 12th I got 83.3% from AP.Could you pl tell me whether my AIR in JEE main will be within 150000 or it may go beyond that?

The JEE Main examination All India ranking will be done based on the highest marks scored by different category candidates in the JEE Main examination. We cannot decide your rank will be in top 1,50,000 or not because same marks will be scored by large number of candidates and the ranking will be not same every year for same marks secured by the candidates. To be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination, you must be in the top 1,50,000 rank of thr JEE Main examination and also you must be in top 20 percentile of high scorers of your 12th state board examinations or you must have secured aggregate of 75% (70% for SC/ST) of marks in your 12th standard from a recognised board. Since, you have secured 83% of marks in your 12th standard and by securing top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination, you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advance examination.
