Re: Eligibility for economics honours after 12th without maths?
After completion of your 12th standard without Mathematics, you can opt for B.A (Economics) or B.Sc. (Economics) course in which you are interested. Candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognised board are eligible to pursue B.A (Economics) or B.Sc. (Economics) course.. Most of the colleges/universities offers direct admission in B.A/B.Sc. course on the basis of 12th standard board examination marks whereas some colleges/universities conducts an entrance examination for offering admission to BA/B.Sc. course. Since, you have completed 12th standard without Mathematics, you can opt any course B.A (Economics) or B.Sc. (Economics) course based on your interest.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor's degree in Economics:
Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subject. Without mathematics, you will not be eligible to get admission in bachelor's degree in Economics in any top universities like Delhi University or others. All colleges like Hindu College, Ramjas College, Shri Ram College of Commerce etc admit candidates who have taken mathematics as compulsory subject in 10+2. |
