I have completed my B.A. in Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. But I am confused that whether Prayag Sangeet Samiti comes under Allahabad University and it is affiliated by UGC or not? Please if anyone knows about this please tell me as I am very worried about my graduation degree.

Prayag Sangeet Samiti is one of the premier places to study music. If you want to learn music, then this will be one of the best places. It is one of the oldest music institution.

Hence, if you have completed any music course from such a place, then surely it will have value.

Prayag sangeet Samiti is not UGC recognized institution and not under any govt university. It is registered under societies registration act. So certificate of this institution is not valid for appointment in government schools in Assam.

This samiti's degree is nothing any value in public bcoz I have seen people are writing theory paper at their home by bringing question paper and answer sheet from the Exam center. And even who even doesn't know the arohan avarohan of Shudh swar , can get First division Sangeet Visharad degree with distinction. Hahaha
