Eligibility to get admission in AIIMS for MBBS degree
Dear Sir, good morning! Myself a student of general caste from a poor family but I am interested to study MBBS. So, I ask you, after +2, what marks are required to admission in AIIMS? What is the fee structure?

If you want to pursue MBBS degree from AIIMS then you should know that it is not a piece of cake to crack the AIIMS exam. And the minimum qualification required to appear in this entrance exam is, a candidate must have completed 12th standard with PCB from a recognised board. Age must not be less than 17 years.

To get admission in AIIMS in MBBS course you have to appear and qualify in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination conducted by AIIMS every year.
The required minimum eligibility to appear in examination is :- Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper. Candidate must have scored minimum 60% in 12th relaxation for reserved category. The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. The examination paper contains questions of Physic, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. |

In order to pursue MBBS from AIIMS, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
> You should have completed your 12th standard with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and50% marks for SC/ST candidates. > You should have studied English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects. > You should have attained the age of 17 years at the time of applying for MBBS. With this eligibility you have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by AIIMS. After qualifying the examination you can get admission to pursue MBBS. The fees may range upto Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 6000/- per semester. |

MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and for pursuing the same course from AIIMS ( All India Institute of Medical Sciences ) you need to qualify AIIMS MBBS entrance examination.
Further for appearing in the same examination you need to be an Indian citizen with your age not lying under 17 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. Also you need to have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 60% marks from a recognized board. AIIMS conduct their own entrance exam for MBBS admission. There are limited number of seats available and it is considered the best place to study medical education in India.
Hence, make sure you have got class 12th with PCB stream from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Fee structure at AIIMS is very economical and if you get admission, it will not have much burden on your parents. |

MBBS is Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery and candidates passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board are eligible to appear in examination.
The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper. There is no upper age limit but minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of year of appearing in examination. The application fee costs Rs 1000 ( exclusive of taxes ..) and will be available online from next month. |

To get admission in AIIMS for pursuing MBBS degree course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognised board. You should have secured at least 60% (50% for SC/ ST) aggregate marks in 12th standard and you should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year of admission to be eligible to get admission for pursuing MBBS course in AIIMS.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in AIIMS to pursue MBBS:-
Candidates applying for AIIMS MBBS should have passed class 12th from any recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. The minimum aggregate of the marks General and OBC candidates need to score in their class 12th must be 60%. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OPH category should have scored a minimum 50 % aggregate in their 12th examination. Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years as on the December 31 of the year of admission. You do not have to spend so much to study MBBS in AIIMS. And the total fee structure is INR 7,000/-. |

Eligibility criteria of AIIMS MBBS:- Candidates must have completed their class 12th examination or equivalent with English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry as a subjects combination from a recognized board. Candidate must have completed class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% of marks in it (50% in case of SC/ST candidate). Candidates age must not be less than 17 years at the time of admission. The fee structure is around Rs. 4000/- to Rs. 5000/-. |
