Hey friend,

The SI exam which is known as the Sub Inspector exam is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) for candidates to join in for the post of Sub inspector.

As like all other exams for this exam also you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria which is framed for the exam and they may include such as:

• Nationality
• Age Limit
• Education Qualification

To be descriptive about these criteria for the exam,they are that:

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a age limit of 20-25 years of age who is from General category.

>> The candidate who is from SC/ST category should have 20-30 years of age.

>> 3 years for OBC reserved category candidates.

>> And 5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports.

>> The education qualification which is framed for the exam states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have completed a Degree from a recognized university.

>> Minimum height needed is170cms

>> Chest size should be 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion.


If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the Sub Inspector Exam

If you have scored 50% aggregate in BA from any recognized university, your hight is 170cm and cchest size not below then 81cm and if you are a citizen of india they absolutly you are elegible to apply or appear SI exam. So if you realy serious about your career then don't waist your time just work hard. All the best !
