Qualification required to become a Lecturer in BSc IT college?
I have completed my Bachelor's of Engineering degree in field of information and technology from pune university. So, am I eligible to become a lecturer in any BSc IT college in Mumbai..? Or what else do I need to do in order to become eligible for the same..?

In order to become a lecturer, the interested candidate must have passed masters degree with atleast 60% marks from a recognised university.
They must have completed a postgraduate masters or PhD qualification , or be working towards one. It's common to have had academic work published. UGC exam is the gateway or entry for becoming Assistant professor, PhD candidates are not exempted from appearing in UGC NET. |

Eligibility:-
1. Must have passed Masters Degree examination from a recognized university in the subject you would like to teach. 2. Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination. 3. Must have qualified National Eligibility Test for Lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education. |

Candidates aspiring to become a Lecturer after 12th can study in any stream at the 10+2 level. This must be followed up with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in a specialisation of choice. For aggregate marks, a minimum of 55% is required when applying to sit for the UGC NET examination.
