What is the qualification required for becoming a degree college lecturer?


Dear All,
I am Susmita and I am Bachelor in Management studies (B.M.S) specilization into Marketing in the academic year 2013-14, and also have completed MCom. into Management in the academic year 2015-16. I have also attempted MHSET in 2016(Results awaited)
I wish to become a professor in Degree college for teaching Management Subjects.
Can anyone help me how do I apply for various professors posts in Karnataka.
Does Qualification changes according to States?

A candidate must have cleared the examination of NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Must have passed Masters Degree examination from a recognized university in the subject you would like to teach.

Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination.

The National Eligibility Test for Lectureship is conducted in the month of June and December every year .

Must hold a PhD degree in relevant discipline.
