Syllabus, question pattern and reference books for preparation of CLAT?

CLAT i.e Common Law Admission Test is conducted by National Law Universities for admission to L.L.B & L.L.M courses. This year notification has already released. To apply for Undergraduate, applicant should have completed Higher Secondary School from a recognized school or equivalent qualification. Applicant must have secured at least 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories.
Pattern of CLAT (Undergraduate): -> English Including Comprehension - 40 Marks -> General knowledge and Current Affairs - 50 Marks -> Elementary Mathematics - 20 Marks -> Legal Aptitude - 50 Marks -> Logical Reasoning - 40 Marks Note: Negative marks will be applicable for every wrong answer. To apply for Post-Graduate, applicant should have completed LLB/five year integrated LLB or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized university. Applicant must have secured at least 55% marks for general candidates and 50% marks for reserved categories. Pattern of CLAT (Post-Graduate): -> Constitutional Law - 50 Marks -> Jurisprudence - 50 Marks -> Other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law , Property Law, IPR etc.- 50 Marks Note: Negative marks will be applicable for every wrong answer.
