Re: Is there any weightage of Intermediate marks in BITSAT?
According to the notification released by the BITS, the eligibility criteria for a candidate appearing in the BITSAT is as follows :
* The candidate should have passed the 12th standard with at least 80% marks aggregate. * The minimum marks in PCM taking together should be 60% If you fulfill the above criteria then you are very much eligible for writing the BITSAT examination. So, there is no weightge of intermediate marks in BITS but it is the minimum qualifying criteria for the exam. |

No, there is no weightage of Intermediate marks in BITSAT.
Candidate must have secured more than 65% marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics, also more than 75% marks overall in 12th class from any recognised board to be eligible for BITSAT. But the score doesn't affect BITSAT score. |

Re: Is there any weightage of Intermediate marks in BITSAT?
Yes, there is some preference given to the intermediate board aggregate for the admission in the BITS but only after qualifying in the BITSAT. BITSAT is conducted every year by the BITS.
The candidates need to qualify in the BITSAT examination to get the admission. But the eligibility to appear for the examination is :- * Candidates must have passed or appearing in the board examination. * Candidates must have 75% in the PCM with atleast 60 in each of them. The examination paper also contains the question of the English and the examination is conducted online. So after qualifyingin the examination you are eligible to get the admission.
