My date of birth is 25th of may 1997. I need to know about the age criteria for the NEET examination.

Yes, you are certainly eligible to appear in NEET Entrance Examination. The minimum age required to appear in NEET Entrance Examination is "17 years" as on 31st December of the year of Admission. As far as your date of Birth is concerned, I have completed 18 years of age as on 25th May of 2015. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject are eligible for NEET exam. At 10+2 level you need to secure minimum 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together.

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

- Applicants applying for NEET examination should be between 17 years and 25 years.

- SC / ST applicants have maximum of 5 years of upper age limit and Maximum upper age limit is 3 years in case of OBC

Eligibility Criteria for NEET Examination:
Educational Qualification::

For applying this exam you should complete 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination in science stream with Physics / Chemistry and Biology from recognized University .

And you should score Minimum 50% percentage of marks in 12th board Examination and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates for 40% percentage of marks .

Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination..

Commerce and Arts candidates are not eligible for NEET Examination ...
