I am a freshly graduate in mechanical engineering with 60% . I want to ask you about internship . Does one year internship equals one year experience? Will internship from BHEL be helpful for me for applying in automobile sector. Awaiting for the response.

Mostly the internship will not be considered as a work experience. But you can mention in your resume that you have undergone one year internship after your graduation. The internship will not be considered as experience because you are not a full time employee. The company does not evaluate your performance during your internship. So the internship will not be considered as work experience in many companies.

NO, it does not mean that you have one year of work experience but yes it will definitely help you in future while applying for job as it surely means that you are very well acquainted with the job profile and have adequate knowledge about the field.
