For training in CDAC you must have below mentioned qualification. Various Post Graduate Diploma courses are offered by CDAC and you must have the required qualification, if you want to apply for it.

Graduate in Engineering ( BE/ BTech/ 4-year BSc Engg/ AMIE/ AMIETE/ DoEACC B Level) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science/ IT from a recognized University.

OR

Post Graduate in Engineering Sciences like MCA/ MSc Engg/ MSc in CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation etc. from a recognized University.

CDAC Common Admission Test is conducted for admission into various course. These course are job oriented and offer good placement to successful candidates.

Exam Pattern for CDAC Common Admission Test:

There will be three sections and each section will have 50 objective type questions. Each question will carry 3 marks. There will be minus 1 for every wrong answer.

1. Section A: English, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude
2. Section B: Computer Fundamentals
3. Section C: Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors

Each section will be of 1 hour duration.

C-DAC has now changed the pattern of entrance. C-DAC conducts a common entrance test (C-CAT). It is conducted in the form of three papers:
Section-A (English, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude)
Section-B (C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communication and Network, OOPS and operating system.)
Section- C (Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics and Microprocessor)
Each section is of one hour duration and carries 50 marks each.
Depending upon you choice you will have to either appear in just Section A or section A & B or all three.
