Yes, second year students of B.Tech (ECE) can definitely apply for training programmes in various organizations. You can definitely pursue training in your second year of engineering. You can do training in :-

- PSUs
- Communication and telecom companies like BSNL, MTNL, Airtel
- IT companies like Hp, HCL
- Indian Railways
- Doordarshan
