Am I eligible to do PhD in English in Kurukshetra University with 52% in M.A.(English)?


Hello,
I am a teacher in a Government School. I have passed M.A.(English) with 52% marks from Kurukshetra University. Can I do PhD in English from the same university?

No, you are not eligible for Ph.D course because your masters degree marks is below 55%.

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D course:-

1)Those candidates who have completed masters from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

2)There is no age criteria for Ph.D course.

So better you can do another masters degree through distance education and you will try to scored above 55% marks in masters to get admission in Ph.D course.
