Am I eligible to do PhD in English without any entrance exam if completed M.A. from Karnataka State Open University?
Friends,
Please tell me the procedure for admission in PhD English. Can I get admission in PhD English without any entrance test? Please I have done M.A. English from Karnataka State Open University. I am eligible for PhD? Please help me to know. |

KSOU is a recognized distance education University and you are definitely eligible for admission if you have done Master's degree with at least 55% marks. There is relaxation of 5% marks for those who belong to reserved category.
Only candidates with a NET/SLET/JRF or M.Phil qualification can apply for Ph.D admission without appearing for any entrance exam. If you don't have these scores then you have to appear for entrance exam. Performance in entrance exam and interview will decide whether you will get job or not. |

I have completed MA english wth 60% last year.Am I eligible for phd without entrance exam in english .
