Sir, i am Kaniz Fatema Chowdhury.I have completed my Masters in English under National University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I want to do an online PhD in English Literature. My Question is - am i eligible to pursue PhD in English?

You must have Master's Degree in English with at least 55% marks from a recognized University to become eligible for admission in Ph.D program of your field. Therefore, if you fulfill this criteria, then surely you can apply for admission in any University. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

The admission is based on the entrance exam conducted by the University. Candidates who have following qualifications are exempted from Ph.D entrance examination.

1. Candidates who have a valid NET/SLET score.

2. M.Phil qualification in relevant discipline from a recognized University.

3. Candidates who have fellowships in the relevant field are also exempted from entrance exam.

I am MA English from annamalai university from open school distance mode.from which university can I do PhD through distance mode!
