Yes, you are eligible to study PhD(Statistics) after completing MCom, if you have completed MCom with minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in statistics from any recognized university. You must have studied Mathematics and Statistics as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level to be eligible.

If you have studied statistics in your degree and post graduation too, then surely you can pursue Ph.D in it. Just make sure you have got admission at a reputed university on merit.
Admission will be on the basis of performance in the written exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. |
