Those candidates who have completed masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible to do PhD in the relevant discipline.
Eligible candidates need to appear and qualify in NET (National Eligibility Test) exam, which is conducted by UGC (University Grant Commission), to take admission in Andhra University for PhD course. Many universities conducts its own entrance test to offer admission into PhD course but those candidates who have qualified in NET exam are exempted for the entrance test.
