Re: Eligibility for PhD in Psychology?
For Ph.D in Psychology you must have a Master's degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
You must also try to qualify UGC NET, so that you can get admission in top colleges for your Ph.D program. Most of the top colleges in India prefer candidates who have qualified UGC NET. Therefore, make sure you are well prepared for this exam. Most of the universities also conduct entrance examination for those candidates who don't have a NET scorecard for the vacant Ph.D seats. Therefore, you can apply for Ph.D entrance conducted by the respective University. Hence, you can definitely apply for Ph.D after your master degree completion, but make sure you have got very good marks in your masters. |
