Re: Eligibility to pursue Ph.D after finishing M.Sc in distance education?
You just need 55% marks in your M.Sc IT to become eligible for PH.D entrance exams. If you can qualify exams like NET/SET/JRF/GATE then you don't have to appear for any other exams.
Candidates with any one of the above scores have good chance of getting admission in top universities. They are directly eligible for interview and viva stages. |

Re: Eligibility to pursue Ph.D after finishing M.Sc in distance education?
No, one cannot directly eligible for Ph.D.
Eligibility criteria required to apply for Ph.D in Information technology is that the candidate must have passed masters degree in respective stream or its equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The respective universities which are offering this course will conduct a separate Ph.D entrance examination for admission. Based on the entrance test result the eligible and selected candidates will be offered admission. |
