Eligibility to study PhD(Microbiology) for Botany postgraduate?
Hello everyone, I have completed my BSc and MSc both in Botany. I am a teacher in Botany in a High School. I had Microbiology and Botany in my graduation and postgraduation. So, I can do PhD in Microbiology subject? I would also like to know that what I have to do for PhD admission?

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue PhD in Microbiology:
As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are eligible to pursue PhD in Microbiology course. The basic eligibility criteria is given below. >> You should have passed Master's Degree or its equivalent course from a recognized university either in Biotechnology or Microbiology or Microbiology or Chemistry or Zoology or Immunology or Botany or Biochemistry or its allied area. >> You should have secured minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination in order to be eligible. >> As Botany is an allied subject, I can say that you are eligible and besides this you should have passed CSIR NET or UGC NET Examination or concerned college's entrance examination in order to get admission. |
