Eligibility to study PhD(Physics) in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore?


Hi everyone, I am a student of MPhil in Physics. After completing my MPhil, I want to do a PhD in Physics. Can I know my eligibility to do PhD(Physics) in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore?

Ph.D. Physics or Doctor of Philosophy in Physics is a Doctorate Physics Course. The required eligibility to study Ph.D. (Physics) in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore is the candidate should have passed M.Phil. Degree or M.Sc. in Physics or Material Science from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required in the master degree for open category is 60% and for SC/St category is 55%. The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of the entrance examination.

Eligibility to study PhD(Physics) in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore;

You must have a master's degree in the relevant subject with first class with distinction with CGPA above 7.0 from any recognized university.

You must have to qualify written test followed by an interview. Candidates having CSIR/UGC NET/ GATE qualification/CAT, GRE qualification is an added advantage.
