I am R.Vasudevan and I am holding a masters degree in the field of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (2004-2006) and a diploma in Biotechnology (2007-2008). I have recently completed MRES in Molecular Biology (2010-2011) from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK. I am interested in pursuing PhD in biotechnology at VIT and I request you to let me know regarding the fee structure. I will be very thankful if you help me in this regard.

The fee structure for Ph.D in Biotechnology from VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) is given below.

1. Registration fee - Rs. 600/-

2. Tuition fee per annum Ph.D M.S. (By Research) M.Phil

3. Internal Part Time Candidate Rs.5000/- Rs.4500/- Rs.4000/-

4. Internal Full Time and External Part Time Candidate Rs.20000/- Rs.15000/- Rs.12000/-

5. For NRI/ Foreign National Category

-Application fee $ 25

-Tuition fee $4000

-Tuition fee (Partner Universities) $3500

Thesis/ Dissertation Fee Rs.10000/- Rs.8000/- Rs.5000/-
(To be paid at the time of submission of Synopsis & Thesis/Dissertation)

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “VIT University”, and payable at Vellore.

The fees structure is as follows.
