Procedure and eligibility to apply in TIFR entrance exam for M.Sc(Physics) postgraduate? Tips for preparation?


Hello,
I have completed my M.Sc in Physics.
I want to appear in TIFR entrance exam.
Please tell me the eligibility and also
the procedure for applying.
And also I want to know that how I can prepare?

You are eligible to apply for TIFR PhD entrance exam. The eligibility criteria is - You need to hold Master Degree in Physics, i.e., M.Sc in Physics. The notification for this year has not been released. It is expected to get released in the month of August- September. So when the notification is released you need to apply online following the notifications mentioned in the notification. The notification is usually released in the official website, Employment News and Current Science Journal.

Tips for preparation :-

- You need to go through the syllabus first. The syllabus has been attached for your kind reference.
- You need to study every topic in detail mentioned in the syllabus.
- Give more time to the topics which you feel as tough.
- Keep a revision time daily.
- Practice a variety of questions and solve previous years' papers. The previous years' papers are attached for your kind reference.
