You can apply for Ph.D admission when the notification is released by the respective University. Being a M.Phil qualified candidate you don't have to appear for any entrance exam and can apply for admission directly on a prescribed format with all the documents. You have to appear for just an interview before admission.
Mostly there is a entrance exam for those who have Master's degree only. Those who have qualified exams like NET/SLET/JRF or M.Phil are exempted from entrance exam. Almost every Ph.D admission will have a personal interview and performance in it will be the criteria for admission. |
