How to do Ph.D in Clinical Psychology after completing MBBS?
Dear Sir/Mam,
I finished my mbbs a year ago n nw im working in a private hospital as a duty medical officer.Actually i did my mbbs in compulsion of my family.i really had very very tough time during my college days n wit my exams..bt somehow passed out.bt nw im not at all intrested in clinicals.also i find very difficult in preparing fr pg entrance exams.Nw i started feeling so frustrated with the job also..bt one thing i understood abt myself ws i could very well interact with people and give them councelling during their ailment..now i caught intrest in psychiatry field..Bt i dont want to trouble my parents again for a management seat.will i be able to do phd in clinical psychology course?please tell me the scope fr it in India..THANK YOU |

Ph.D in clinical psychology is not possible, if you just have a MBBS degree. You can't study a subject for your research work, if you haven't studied it at PG degree level.
You must have a masters degree in clinical psychology or a similar stream, to become eligible for admission in Ph.D programme. |
