Re: How to select a topic of research and a Guide for PhD in Food & Nutrition?
It is good to see candidates who are willing to pursue research in the field of Food and Nutrition. It is quite important that a good chunk of modern youth goes in this sector to uplift the standard of Food, Nutrition and health of the country.
You should first decide the interest sector in this field. Then proceed in it to get a research topic. It will be better if you go for some problems which the modern society is facing and come up with a solution by presenting a paper. Do the research on the latest updates and technologies which are prevalent and then chalk out the drawbacks in them. Then give a better solution to those drawbacks. You should choose a guide who specializes or have presented papers in the field in which you are pursuing PhD. Some topics about food and nutrition can be:- -Anorexia -Antioxidants -Body Mass Index -Bulimia -Caffeine -Chocolate -Coffee -Corn History -Diet and Weight Loss -Eating Disorders -Eating Habits -Food Allergies -Food and Culture -Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (U.S.) -Food Irradiation -Food Safety -History of Alcohol -Hunger -Jewish Dietary Laws -Malnutrition -Nutrition -Nutrition Labeling -Nutritional Supplements -Organic Food -Psychology of Eating -Tea -Vegetarianism -Weight and Society -Weight Loss Industry -Wine Making and Tasting |
