Is Ph.D. from IIT Chennai more valuable or Ph.D. from IISC Bangalore?


I am completing M.tech from Department of Information Technology. Now i want to pursue PhD in Computer Science. I want to know which institutes is more valuable for doing this course- IIT, Chennai or IISC, Bangalore?

IISc Bangalore has been rated higher than most IITs by many organisations worldwide because of its research work. It is definitely a best option if you are looking for a PH.D programme.

IITs are also good but IISc is better than most IITs for PH.D programme. Therefore, if you have options of these two then opt for IISc.
