Yes, it is possible to pursue part time PhD in Computer Science in various universities in Tamil Nadu. The post graduates in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks and above are eligible for the PhD part time. The interested candidates can apply online or offline for the admission. They will be admitted through an entrance test and interview. The list of universities in which you can do PhD in computer science through part time is given below;

Those candidates who have completed masters degree in Computer Science with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There are no age criteria.

To get admission in Ph.D course in part time course, you should qualify in UGC NET and GATE exam.
