I have completed my B.E(Electrical) & M.E(Industrial Engg). Now i like to purse my phd in electrical department.I have identified the topic,guide(Everything electrical). In which department my degree will be awarded. Is there any possibility of getting the Phd Degree in electrical.

You have completed B.E in Electrical Engineering M.E in Industrial Engineering so you are eligible for Ph.D course in Electrical Engineering.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria. Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.

But you must have qualify in GATE or UGC NET or CSIR NET exam. You can get stipend during your Ph.D course.
