Hello,
Kindly tell me about the relaxation in ICMR-JRF getting to SC candidates while applying for Life Sciences. I want to apply for ICMR-JRF for Life Sciences. I am a SC candidate. Kindly tell me about the relaxation.

Relaxation For SC Candidates in ICMR JRF Life Sciences:

1) SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates will be given such special consideration as per the policy guidelines. Candidates qualifying for the award of JRF will receive fellowship from ICMR.

Age Criteria:

2) The age limit for admission to the Eligibility Test is "28 years)

For SC/ ST - Upper age limit relaxable up-to 5 years

3) The final result will be based on the aggregate of 55% marks obtained in both the sections for General Category and OBC and "50% marks for SC/ ST and Physically Handicapped" candidates.

>> ICMR Junior Research Fellowship Examination is the first step in the process of admission to Ph.D or Research Program through the council's support. This test for ICMR JRF Fellowship are conducted at the seven centers viz. Chennai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
