Re: For which subject I should apply in CSIR-NET if completed M.Sc in Bioinformatics?
You can apply for Life Sciences subject, if you have done M.Sc in Bioinformatics. You must have at least 55% marks in your Master's degree, then only you will be eligible for CSIR NET. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category candidates.
There is no age limit for CSIR NET and you can apply without worrying about your age. for JRF there is an upper age limit of 28 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates who belong to reserved category. Therefore, you can start preparing for Life Sciences subjects, if you are interested in cracking CSIR NET. |
