Should I appear in GATE to study PhD(Physics) on B.E.(CSE) basis in IISC?


Dear Friends,
I have taken up B.E. in Computer Science. But I want to take up PhD programme in Physics preferably in IISC. How can I do this? Can I take up GATE in Physics with my B.E. Degree in CS? What are my other options?

You have completed B.E in Computer Science, so you are not eligible for Ph.D course in Physics in IISC.

But you can apply for GATE exam.

You can get admission in Ph.D course in IISC in Computer Science department through GATE score.
