There are various PhDs available in Textiles like a PhD in Textile and Clothing, PhD in Textile Design, PhD in Textile Engineering, PhD in Fashion & Textiles, PhD in Textile Technology, PhD in Apparel and Textiles etc. Candidates can choose the PhD based on their nature of course studied. Those candidates who have completed a masters degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for a PhD. Candidates are admitted to the course on the basis of an entrance examination and interview. Universities offering PhD in Textiles are given below;
