B.Tech in Textile Engineering, Textile Engineering B.Tech
It is a branch of engineering which deals with all aspects of textile synthesis and manufacture. It is the application of engineering principles to design and control textile, fiber, and other related products, the machinery used and the techniques applied. Emphasis is given on the designing of machinery useful for textile production and improvement of methods through which textiles and fabrics are manufactured.
Course Outlook:
Textile engineering a graduation course. It is of four year duration. The course is divided into eight semesters of six month duration each. The first year study is the foundation course for any engineering discipline. In the second year, the candidate is taught about machinery related to textile industries and about the chemical that are used in this industry. More details study of machinery and chemical are done in the third year. Fourth year is the most crucial year as it develops the necessary skills for working in the industry i.e. the candidate is made industry ready.
Eligibility:
The candidate should must have completed the higher secondary schooling from a recognized board. It is necessary for the candidate to have physics, chemistry and mathematics in the higher secondary schooling. The candidate needs to appear for written entrance tests in order to get admitted to an engineering course in textile engineering.
Job Prospects:
The candidate may get a job in textile industries. The job prospect also lies in the chemical industry. The candidate may also go into the research work.
