Difference between Ph.D in Anthropology and Ph.D in Sociology courses:

In general, both these courses Ph.D in Anthropology and Ph.D in Sociology courses are same. But as far as their purpose is concerned, there is a difference between Sociology and Anthropology courses. In Anthropology, Quantitative methods are applied where as in Sociology Qualitative methods are offered. Anthropology basically studies about Communities and Culture whereas, Sociology studies about Social Problems and several institutions. And the other difference between both these streams is that Anthropology is about localized and immersive data collection whereas in Sociology it's a broader and larger of sample size. I you are interested towards Quantitative methods then I would suggest you to go through Anthropology course rather than Sociology.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
