NET stands for National Eligibility Test and the entrance examination is conducted by UGC twice every year.

The examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates as Lecturer or JRF. The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed or pursuing in final year master degree from recognised university.

Candidate must have minimum 55% aggregate in master's degree.

Candidate's age must be between 19-28 years for JRF and no age limit for Lecturership.

The examination is conducted in month of June and December every year. To get detail information about examination and syllabus visit at http://www.ugc.ac.in
