Please give details of eligibility,entrance test and time specified for the same..also is it

First of all you must have at least 55% mark in your Master's degree to become eligible for admission in Ph.D in India. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category. You can apply for admission in various universities which offer admission in distance learning mode for Ph.D programme.

IGNOU is the most popular university offering Ph.D in distance mode with many learning centers across the country. Just make sure that you have got scores like NET/SLET/JRF/GATE so that you don't have to appear for any other Ph.D entrance exam in India. Admission is on merit and you have to get a good score in the entrance exam and interview.
